I can't remember not wanting to be an animator. My earliest animation memory is discussing Fantasia with my family and telling them that I wanted to do that for a living. Back then I had no idea what it was going to take to reach my dreams but the more I learned about the world of animation the more I was hooked.
I remember when my mom told me about this school she had heard about... Sheridan College. I ended up in the final graduating class of the 3 year classical animation diploma program at Sheridan and learned a lot about the industry.
Iād had the privilege to live and work as an animator in Toronto, Vancouver, Oakville, Ottawa, Sydney, Australia, San Francisco and now Montreal.
I currently take on freelance animation projects from home. In my spare time I work on my independent film. It's a 3 minute hand animated short set in the 1950's. I've been working on this passion project since 2009. I share work in progress for this film on my blog. (Link on home page.)
